CPD activity: Short takeaway videos – SIPPs for Modern Retirement

Following our SIPPs for modern retirement roadshow earlier this year, we have produced a series of short videos covering the key issues discussed, including an overview of the SIPP industry, a summary of technical updates looking at the annual allowance charge and the fine line between tax planning and avoidance. We also cover recent updates for commercial property and the introduction of MEES, ending with highlights from our guest speaker Rory Percival, Board member of the Personal Finance Society speaking about DB Transfers from the regulators perspective.

The videos qualify for 35 minutes unstructured CPD activity.  Click on the links below to access the videos:

  • Overview and highlights from the SIPP industry – Rupert Curtis, CEO Curtis Banks Group
  • The annual allowance charge, expression of wishes and death benefits and the fine line between tax planning and tax avoidance – Jessica List, Pension Technical Manager, Curtis Banks Group
  • Commercial property and the introduction of MEES – Alexandra Moast, Property Technical Team Manager, Curtis Banks Group
  • Rory Percival’s DB Transfers: The Regulatory Perspective – Rory Percival, Board Member The Personal Finance Society

Regards,
Curtis Banks.
